George N. Wyche Jr., Esq. – Executive Vice President

George N. Wyche, Jr., Esq. is the Executive Vice President of ARVO Realty Advisors, where he is chiefly responsible for the firm’s business development and strategic planning initiatives. Before joining ARVO Realty Advisors, George was engaged in the private practice of law for 14 years, primarily specializing in real estate, real estate finance, and entity counseling and formation.

During his tenure as Managing Partner of Drayden & Wyche, LLP, George served as lead outside counsel to the City of Houston Housing and Community Development Department and prime commercial real estate counsel to the Resolution Trust Corporation. He also served as lead real estate counsel to the Houston Astros Baseball Club in land acquisition and site control matters related to developing their $290 million downtown retractable roof baseball stadium. Before forming his law firm, George served as an Assistant Harris County Attorney in its Eminent Domain and Ad Valorem Tax divisions.

George has held and still holds various offices relating to the industry, including:

  • Immediate-Past President, Commercial Industrial Society of Realtists
  • Served two terms as General Counsel to the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB); Co-Founder of NAREB’s Young Realtist Division
  • Served three terms as General Counsel to the Texas Association of Realtist, Inc. and as General Counsel to the National Society of Real Estate Appraisers
  • Received the Volunteer of The Year Award for the Northeast YMCA, where he has served as a member of the Board of Directors and Past Chairman
  • Served as Vice-Chair of the National Bar Association Real Estate, Trust & Probate Law Section

A graduate of Howard University, George received a BBA in Finance. He currently serves on the Executive Committee and as a Regional Director of the Howard University Alumni Association. George received his Juris Doctorate degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
