Before joining ARVO Realty Advisors, Elgin served as Senior Vice President and Commercial Real Estate Team Leader at Amerant Bank, where he oversaw all commercial real estate lending activities across Texas. His leadership was instrumental in originating over $397 million in high-quality commercial loans and generating substantial fee income for the bank annually. Elgin also cultivated strategic relationships with major real estate developers and equity groups nationwide.

Committed to community service, Elgin chairs the Asset Management Committee at Avenue CDC and serves on the board of the Bridge Builder Charity Foundation, contributing to initiatives such as the Scholarship and Mardi Gras Fundraiser Committees. He also plays a pivotal role as the chair of the Voter Registration, Education, and Mobilization Committee within the Mu Mu Nu chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
